ONTARIO ONLINE SECURITY GUARD TRAINING
How to become a Licensed Security Guard in Ontario ?
Here are the steps to start your licensing process in the Province of Ontario:
- MEET THE BASIC REQUIREMENTS
- Be 18 years of age or older
- Have a clean criminal record
- Can legally work in Canada
- GET YOUR FIRST AID CERTIFICATION
This certificate is required, and it must be obtained from a WSIB Approved provider. Our First Classes meet this requirement, and you will receive the official certificate from the Canadian Red Cross.
- TAKE OUR ONLINE TRAINING
Purchase this security guard course and utilize our online platform to complete it at your convenience.
- TAKE THE MINISTRY EXAM
The ministry exam is done by Serco Canada (Drive Test Centers). It can also be completed online.
Exam Cost: $39.55 [one-time fee]
- SUBMIT ONTARIO LICENSE APPLICATION
This is the final step to becoming a licensed security guard in Ontario.
Application Fee: $80.00 [must be renewed every two years]
